Welcome to Ms. Rekkas's Gifted/Enrichment Language Arts website.   I look forward to working together with you this year to create a challenging and cooperative environment that supports exceptional reading, writing, and speaking development.  This site is the home for students and parents of students on the Genesis, Legacy, and Explorers teams, and will be updated regularly with:

  • Daily homework updates each weekday  
  • Weekly news posted on the last day of each school week
  • Course expectations and consequences as well as a course overview, policies, and procedures
  • Useful links to sites for gifted education and advocacy

 Gifted/Enrichment Winter NWEA Testing

Students,

You must check in with the teachers of the blocks you could potentially miss for NWEA testing next week.  Please request they sign this sheet to confirm your check-in.  YOU are responsible for any missed work and arranging to stay on top of your class’s activities.  *Do not interrupt any teacher teaching during their class time to check in.*  These sheets are due to me/room 214 no later than your test time on Tuesday, February 19.< xml="true" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" prefix="o" namespace="">
